Thompson, Sr. in 1932 and continues to serve the needs of the community today. In 1959 Clifford Thompson, Jr. joined the firm and operated the funeral home with his father.  Cliff, Sr. died in 1978 and Cliff, Jr. continued to operate the funeral home until his death in 1997. Cheryl L. Thompson-Morrow, a third generation Thompson, carries on the family tradition today.   Cheryl graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1989.   After serving a one year apprenticeship under her father, Cliff, Jr., she received her embalming and funeral director's license.  Member of the Boardman Rotary Club.     Edward J. Filicky, a licensed funeral director and embalmer graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1990 and has been associated with Thompson Funeral Home for over 10 years.  Member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club.
